Dear Lisa and family,

While spending some quiet time, plus talking with Darlene's friend Patty Purkey, at the funeral home on Friday, I could feel the spirit of love surrounding Darlene and her life.  She obviously was a special person whose void will always be there for those who knew her, and I am so sorry her life ended much too soon.  Lisa, I can only guess how much you truly loved her; you gave her not only your love, but also your endless energy, time, and part of your body to help save her.  Darlene, you, and those who loved her fought a valiant battle.  Your selfless devotion to Darlene makes my struggles seem small, and I love you and admire you for it.   Beyond death, the memories of Darlene's spirit and undying presence will hopefully help to fill up the emptiness left in your heart. I pray that the fun, happy, good and loving memories of Darlene will sustain all of you during the days and years to come.  Much love, Janet

My Prayers and thoughts are with you

Darlene was a good friend 1st and a sister-in-law later.  Even though we are ex in laws now, we always stayed in touch.  It is so hard losing someone you love so much, but there will be no more suffering for her. She was such a strong & brave person & put up a long & hard fight.  I send all my love to the family and pray that God will get you thru this hard time.  Your'e in my prayers always.

I am so very sorry for what you're all going through.  Aunt Darlene is a wonderful woman with a beautiful heart.  Our loved ones will be missed.  God bless you all.

To all of Darlene's family:  In the office we feel like family and she was a cherished member of that family.  I am so proud, amazed and blessed by time I shared with her.  She inspired me in so many ways.  We loved her and were blessed that she loved us. 

 

I just wanted you to know I contine to share my prayers with you that you may find comfort and peace at times when you need it most.   I know words sometimes say so little, so know how loved and special you all were to her.

Dotty, as I think back to all the many memories that I have shared with you there are so many wonderful things we did and  seen together. I love you so much. You have fought so long and hard and I know your poor body was so tired. I tried to imagine the first things that you saw when you got to heaven, I bet your dad was there waiting on you and so many other people. I bet you are so amazed at all  the beauty there. The most important thing of all you are in no more pain you don't have to take any more medicine nd your body is healed.

Dotty, I will  miss you so much. I love you .
